What is Medical Detox Stabilization?

At ThriveNow Recovery Centers™, we aim to make the detox process as comfortable as possible while helping you manage withdrawal symptoms to start your recovery journey. Our facilities incorporate Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to reduce cravings at the outset of your treatment. Detox stabilization at ThriveNow Recovery Centers™ involves a holistic approach, addressing both your mental and physical health. We understand that true recovery requires attention to every aspect of your life.

We offer the following medications:

  • Buprenorphine (Suboxone)
  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade)
  • Naloxone (Narcan)
  • Vivitrol

What to Expect During the Medical Detox Process

It's crucial to know what to expect during detox stabilization and withdrawal management, especially when dealing with withdrawal symptoms. Detoxification may be the initial step in addiction treatment but might not be necessary for those with milder substance use disorders. This short-term process is designed to safely manage withdrawal symptoms and prepare the body for long-term drug or alcohol treatment. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) “is more effective when counseling and other behavioral health therapies are included to provide patients with a whole-person approach.” Therefore, in addition to MAT, you will have access to various healing modalities for stabilization, such as individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention support.

Continuing Care After Medical Detox Stabilization

During your time at ThriveNow Recovery Centers™, you will be assigned a treatment team dedicated to managing every aspect of your recovery process, from detox and withdrawal management to group and individual therapy sessions. Once you have completed the necessary steps for your level of care and are ready, you will transition to a short-term residential community. Here, you can develop social and life skills to ensure a smooth transition to independent sober living.
